I have studied in the fields of languages and communications, as well as gender studies. I am very interested in the ways communications shape our communities, how they can help marginalized groups to become empowered but also hinder their visibility at times, the strength of pop culture to change the world and the vilification of mainstream media, the representation of subcultures or the importance of stereotyping...

due to my work I have also learnt about the power of communication to sell, cater to publics and create relationships (marketing, PR, business comm)

I am a versatile and eclectic scholar willing to learn and easily adaptable to new work environments.

I have taught in several institutions such as Université de Montréal, University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and ESERP Business School

I have experience teaching in schools, high schools and universities, adult education, older adults, online education, etc.
